I am passionate about my teaching and research. Over the last 20 years I have coached and mentored many UG Students, PhDs Early Career Researchers and Colleagues in the social sciences and arts and humanities. It brings me great joy to share my knowledge and experience to build students and fellow academic scholars confidence in their academic writing, teaching, careers and future.
Since the inception of the student led teaching awards in 2015 at Brunel University, I have been nominated every year and won in 2020 and 2022 the Lecturer Global Citizen Award awarded to lecturers who actively engage with intercultural and liberation initiatives that seek to advocate for marginalised students; demonstrate leadership in fostering a global community on campus; and promote inclusion and cultivate an empowering environment for students.
